How To Be A Weekend Warrior

Who doesn’t love their weekends?

My weekends are just too precious for me, and I know you feel the same way about yours.

At the start of this year I came up with a Weekly Planner of daily house chores to fit during the week so I can make plans for my day/s off.

My Weekly Planner

Sunday – laundry, clean alfresco/garden

Monday – vacuum carpeted areas/dusting

Tuesday – laundry/clean bathroom

Wednesday – vacuum wooden floor/dusting

Thursday – laundry/clean bathroom

Friday – weekend warrior!

Saturday – weekend warrior!

Haha! Though the planner is not followed religiously, it serves as a guide on what needs to be done to keep our home neat and tidy in order for me to dedicate my two precious days to becoming a weekend warrior.

Lately, I have been introduced to the concept of ‘meal prep’. A quarter of my weekend now is spent in the kitchen preparing meals to last us for the week.

How about you, how do you spend your days off?

Thank you so much for reading and on to the next weekend!
