One of the reasons why I started this blog, was to share travel tips, itineraries, experiences and travel photos with the hopes of inspiring and helping first timers to Europe plan out their trip. Which I am still aspiring to be able to fulfil in the future. Because I am having a 'writer's block' at the moment (though I have never been a writer to begin with) on how to write how to and what to blog entries, I have decided to start a series of 'Photo Diary' to be able to share our photos minus the pressure of a real write up.
The Lindenderry at Red Hill is just an hour's drive from Melbourne. Located in the hinterland of the most charming Mornington Peninsula. The moment you drive into the estate and look on the left side, you will be greeted with a dreamy view of the estate, which instantly transports you a world away. The carefully cultured grapevines, rows of perfect cone shaped pine trees and rose bushes that leads to the hotel's entrance gives you that European country side feel.
I did not have much expectations of Milan, aside from the known fact that it is the Fashion Capital of the World. Our Uber driver made that clear to us. Of course, he picked us up from the stazione looking sprezzatura in his black leather jacket, denim jeans, pointed dark brown leather shoes, black sunglasses and his shiny Mercedes Benz. Hello Rockstar!
One book that has been sitting on my beside table is the book How to be Parisian (Wherever you Are).The book is fun, FUNNY, chic, addicting, very insightful and most of all WITTY! Do not be surprised if you find yourself laughing out loud as you flip through its pages. If you have a Paris obsession or love anything and everything Parisian, get a copy of the book and make the 'how to' and aphorisms your Life Mantra!
